A question about the location of this scene recently came up. This picture is from the small bedroom community of North Park, a suburb of San Diego, California. Most of my "Alley-scapes" depict this area of town. I lived there for about 15 years around the time I started the series " Alleys of North Park." Though I've painted other locations, North Park will always be my main subject.
